My name is Mecan Payne and I live in Hunterdon County, New Jersey with my husband and three little boys (6, 3, 2). My hobbies include cooking, reading nonfiction, practicing yoga, watching true crime documentaries and expl0ring our local downtown with my family. My love language is whipping up handcrafted coffee for friends and family to enjoy.

Having navigated three vastly different pregnancy and birth experiences, as well as journeying alongside many friends throughout their pregnancies and postpartum seasons, I am passionate about walking alongside women as we journey through motherhood together.

From trying to conceive, to pregnancy, to labor & birth, to postpartum recovery and beyond - I believe deeply that it is not my journey, not your journey, it is our journey of seeking health, healing and wholeness as mothers.

It is Our Whole Journey of living into the lifelong calling of motherhood.

As your birth doula, postpartum doula, yoga teacher and integrative wellness coach, I am here to walk alongside you through every step of your journey. I am committed to meeting you exactly where you are: in your life, in your health, in your wellness, in your spiritual practices, in your pregnancy, in your postpartum recovery, in your journey of growing as a mother.

My philosophy is one of community and sacred spaces.

I am here to hold space, sacred space, for you as you ask questions, seek answers, learn from resources and prepare for whatever season is next for you. Motherhood is intense and crazy, but it’s also deeply rich and fun and fulfilling. I am honored to be walking alongside you on this journey, Our Whole Journey.
